Aatiqa Lateef is currently CEO |TAF Foundation (TAFF), a related entity of the Byco Group of Industries, Audi and Premiere Systems. Ms. Lateef concurrently serves as a Director on the Board of Khushhali Micro Finance Bank and on the Industry Advisory Board of Habib University’s School of Science and Engineering. In addition to strategically positioning market entities for entry onto global platforms, she has been recognized for her ability to lend a unique perspective in growth market economies.
Ms. Lateef’s current role at TAFF revolves around sustainable economic and social mobility initiatives for marginalized groups. As well, she is a recognized vocal advocate for women’s empowerment. In 2016, Ms. Lateef was selected as one of ten Ponds Miracle Mentors and separately delivered an empowerment talk to the Mentors at the event. She has also delivered a TEDx talk to an audience of successful entrepreneurs and was named Hello! Pakistan’s Hot 100 as a Woman to Watch in 2016. Ms. Lateef has been the keynote address at various events to include the annual WibCon hosted by PSTD.
Prior to her role at TAFF, Ms. Lateef was the Byco Groups Chief of Staff and Corporate Spokesperson. She has also served as General Counsel/SEVP Strategy where she was instrumental in transitioning Pakistan's oldest financial institution, HBFC, from public to private sector. Earlier she was an Associate Partner and head of the Corporate Practice Group of the Pakistan based multinational law firm Awan Raza. Ms. Lateef joined Awan Raza from Chicago where she worked as a business strategist in emerging market economies.
As visiting faculty at National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Ms. Lateef established and taught the university’s first Strategic Management curriculum to its inaugural graduating BBA class. In 2011, she conceived of and executed a unique people-focused outreach media campaign which earned the Marketing Campaign of the Year Award conferred by the President of Pakistan.
Ms. Lateef is a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from South Texas College of Law Houston, holds an MBA in Strategy from Texas A&M University and is a B.S. from The University of Houston.
