MasterCard Officially Opens Up In Pakistan

With a phenomenal imprint in almost quarter of the world, MasterCard comes to the Pakistan with the objective to get into a bigger landscape including parts of Middle East and Africa. It is an industry for payments, a technological company which has formally started its operation in Karachi with operational MasterCard office.

The company will provide numerous card services in Pakistan including debit, credit, corporate, prepaid solutions, Rewards by MasterCard Services, digital payment solutions and others.

This isn’t the only achievement to this date, previously MasterCard had a global introduction of the Masterpass QR. It is Pakistan’s first service of digital payment that gives option to any banking user to operate the banking app for paying bills, in-store payment etc. This service is being seen as to give advantage to a great number of customers surrounded in secured and convenient payment environment through mobile banking apps.

Not just this, MasterCard can also be used in Pakistan for making online payments, which at one time seemed a never-happening possibility. Thanks to it, the two banks, MCB and Bank Alfalah will be catering to provide master online payment services in the country. Additionally, its HomeSend Service is centered around remittance which will be provided by Meezan Bank, the leading Islamic Bank of Pakistan. Well, thanks to Habib Bank, MasterCard was able to introduce Mobile Point-of-Sale – the first in Pakistan in 2015 to allow card payment option for small dealers.

As of today, the service provider has 17 important issuers in Pakistan, making sure that no spectrum of the card solutions is missed!
